Details:

Most of Ohio is under drought conditions, with Clark County being classified as D3 (Extreme) drought conditions. These full maturity beans were harvested at ~8% moisture. Due to conditions, soybean pods were splitting, leaving the grain exposed or on the ground.

Conclusion:

If possible, try to harvest soybeans in a timely manner to avoid pod shatter and harvest losses. Any dry pods that are re-wetted can weaken further. You can read more about the drought conditions in Ohio in this Crop Observation and Recommendation Network (C.O.R.N.) newsletter
