Potassium Deficiency

Details:

Soybeans at the V5 (fifth trifoliate) growth stage were observed displaying signs of potassium (K) deficiency. Lower leaves are shown with yellowing or chlorosis around the leaf margins and slight stunting of plants was observed across the site. This area tends to be rather dry, which can result in increase K deficiency issues.

Conclusion:

The best way to avoid K deficiency is to maintain a regular fertilization program that is adjusted based on routine soil testing.
