Details:

Freeze damage was scouted at the Western Agricultural Research Station in late April after a freeze event. Temperatures dropped as low as 28° F for approximately 5 hours between April 21-22, 2024. Days later soybean hypocotyls and cotyledons were noticeably brown. This field was planted on March 25 without tillage and most of the field was at VE. Damage was reported to cover approximately 50-75% of the site.
